Stare Miasto, or the ‘Old Town’, is proof of this. Much of the city centre’s original splendour has been restored to its former glory. Here you’ll find many attractions, such as Wawel Castle and Planty Park. The beating heart of the district is Rynek Główny, Europe’s largest medieval market square.
