Stare Miasto, or the ‘Old Town’, is proof of this. Much of the city centre’s original splendour has been restored to its former glory. Here you’ll find plenty of attractions, such as Wawel Castle and Planty Park. The beating heart of the neighbourhood is Rynek Główny, Europe’s largest medieval market square.
