These are the perfect neighbourhoods for a stroll with great views, beautiful shops and quaint cafes.

If you like to relax in a beautiful park every now and then during your city break, this is an ideal district. From the elevated Parque Eduardo VII, you have great views over Lisbon's hills. Where the park ends, chic Avenida da Liberdade begins, where the crème de la crème does their shopping. You'll find mostly hotels, luxury shops, chic restaurants and kiosks here. You then cross the eastern hill via the Elevador do Lavra. This brings you via Largo do Intendente and Martim Moniz square to the Mouraria district. This is Lisbon's most multicultural neighbourhood, where quite a few buildings are currently being refurbished.
