The L’Eixample district is popular with Valencians for its lovely shops, innovative restaurants and vibrant nightlife.

The Eixample consists of three large neighbourhoods: Colón, Canovas and Ruzafa. Colón is where you can shop all day long. Here, large chain stores and small boutiques sit side by side. Canovas is a neighbourhood with excellent restaurants and bars. Many Valencians head to this part of the city for a simple lunch, a drink or dinner at a restaurant (some of which have a Michelin star). Ruzafa is *the* place for all sorts of new ventures, from innovative restaurants to co-working spaces. This neighbourhood also boasts a vibrant nightlife.
