I love life in Madrid. Browsing the shops, relaxing in the park and spending as much time as I like in bars: this city is brilliant.
Narrow streets, stately squares and lively neighbourhoods: Madrid is a city where there is plenty to see, but just as much to experience. Whatever day of the week it is, you can always enjoy a good meal here, catch a theatre performance, shop to your heart’s content or let your hair down on the dance floor. Marvel at the art collection at the Museo del Prado, admire the interior and exterior of the Palacio Real and wander through the huge El Rastro flea market. It’s no wonder that the people of Madrid say de Madrid al cielo (‘from Madrid to heaven’). In other words: there’s nothing better than Madrid.
